Job Title: Group Home Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Home Worker to join our team at the John Howard Society of New Brunswick Fundy Region Inc. As a Group Home Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with mental health disabilities in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily living support and assistance with household chores
  • Assist with food preparation and meal planning
  • Implement behavior management programs and provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Support clients with special needs and provide emotional support
  • Work collaboratively with a team to ensure a safe and supportive environment
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. social work, psychology, etc.)
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health disabilities
  • Knowledge of behavior management programs and crisis intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
