We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Document Coordinator to join our team in Alberta, Canada. This is a 1-year hybrid contract with a strong possibility of a 2-year extension.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating, producing, reviewing and distributing controlled technical documents and contractual documents for various groups and departments. This will be in support of a team of Project Managers and Engineers as they deliver projects from inception to close out.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring all project documents, including technical and contractual, are tracked and stored in proper locations
  • Supporting a variety of individuals in transmitting and receiving documents with external stakeholders
  • Acquiring in-depth knowledge of Oracle Aconex and providing expertise to team members
  • Ensuring timely processing of document review and approval
  • Supporting change control activities, ensuring proper standards and policies are followed
  • Following established processes and making recommendations for improvements to efficiencies of the existing document control systems
  • Routing documents for approval to appropriate parties and ensuring closeout
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in document control
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Aconex
  • Knowledge of engineering and project document control methods and tools
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to show initiative, creativity and integrity
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong judgement and reasoning skills
Compensation:

Estimated salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
