The Department of Medical Imaging at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is a leading institution in the field of medical imaging. With a strong focus on thoracic imaging, our team provides expert care to patients with a broad spectrum of diseases.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled radiologist to join our team as a lecturer or assistant professor. The successful candidate will work across all thoracic imaging modalities, including CXR, CT and MRI, and lead respiratory and thoracic tumor board rounds as well as resident and fellows teaching rounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach medical students, radiology residents and cardiothoracic fellows
  • Participate in the on-call rotation program
  • Lead respiratory and thoracic tumor board rounds
Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold an MD or equivalent as well as a Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent. They must be eligible for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and have sufficient experience to report thoracic CXR, CT, and MRI.

About the Opportunity

This position provides an excellent opportunity for professional development, collaborative and individual research with protected academic time. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the teaching faculty of our Residency and Fellowship Programs and a member of our Cardiothoracic Division.
