Les Croissants d'Olivier Ltd is seeking a skilled Baker - Pastry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our bakery, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, bread, and sweet goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory levels.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Machinery Operation: Operate machinery to mix, knead, and bake dough and batters.
- Decorating and Presentation: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet customer expectations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Factory or plant environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, reliable, team player, and patient.
