About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Hanwell Community. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our community by performing various tasks such as weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the appearance of our grounds by regularly mowing lawns, raking leaves, and removing litter and garbage.
  • Operate equipment such as front-end loaders, pick-up trucks, tractors, and weed trimmers/edgers to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens as required.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and bend, crouch, or kneel.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be expected to work 35 hours per week, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. They must also have attention to detail and be able to work independently.
