About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at JBH Truck Centre Ltd. as a Heavy Truck Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet of heavy trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Diagnose and repair faults and malfunctions in heavy truck equipment, including diesel engines, transmissions, and other critical systems.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, to ensure the continued reliability of our fleet.
  • Inspect and Test Equipment: Inspect and test equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and make any necessary repairs.
  • Order Parts and Maintain Inventory: Order parts and maintain inventory levels to ensure that our team has the necessary materials to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other members of our maintenance team to ensure that repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding work environment, requiring attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to handle heavy loads.
