Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at JBH Truck Centre Ltd. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, including fuel injection systems, exhaust systems, and cooling systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with heavy trucks and equipment
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment
