We are currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll: The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing payroll cheques in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation: The candidate will calculate the value of fixed assets and determine their depreciation using established accounting procedures.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements: The candidate will ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reflected in the general ledger and financial statements.
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports: The successful candidate will prepare various reports, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
  • Prepare tax returns: The candidate will prepare and submit tax returns on behalf of the company.
  • Prepare trial balance of books: The successful candidate will prepare a trial balance of the company's books to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile accounts: The candidate will reconcile all accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.Requirements

    To be considered for this position, you must have:

    • 1-7 months of experience in accounting or a related field.
    • An educational background in accounting or a related field.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    Work Environment

    This is an on-site position, requiring the employee to work from our physical location. There are no remote work options available.

    Salary

    The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
