Job Title: Glazier Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Glazier Supervisor to join our team at Blackline Aluminum Systems. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our glazing department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Lead a team of 5-10 glaziers and coordinate their activities to ensure efficient production and high-quality results.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Train and Develop: Train and develop glaziers to enhance their skills and knowledge, and oversee apprenticeship training programs.
  • Estimate and Plan: Estimate costs and materials, and plan and coordinate activities to meet production targets.
  • Ensure Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Requisition and Order: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Organized, reliable, team player, and ability to work under pressure.
Work Conditions:
  • Work Hours: 32.5 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
