About the Role

Purolator Inc is seeking a skilled Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team in Yorkton. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
  • Scan packages / mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
  • Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 (non GDL) license, clean drivers abstract
  • Ability to read maps; Good sense of geographical direction
  • Flexible to work additional hours or overtime
  • Able to pass a criminal record check
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
  • Strong customer focus and communication
  • Reliable and punctual behaviour
  • Steel toed boots
  • Courier methods training and/or work-related experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player, Problem solving
  • Proper scan and load techniques
