Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Food Preparation and Quality Control
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food meets quality control standards.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory records.
- Financial Management
- Prepare and submit reports on food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
- Establish and manage budgets for kitchen operations.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language
- Fluency in English.
- Work Setting
- Restaurant environment.
- Hours of Work
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
