Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at B.C. Ltd. as a key member of our food service operations.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Hire and train new staff members to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform food service operations and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
