The Sunnyside Garden Daycare Centre is a vibrant community where children learn and grow through play-based programs. We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to lead our child development programs.

Job Description

We offer a permanent position with a salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 30 to 40 hours per week in a physically demanding environment that requires attention to detail, multitasking, and excellent oral communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • College/CEGEP diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • 2 years of experience working with children aged 0-12
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)

You will also need to be punctual, reliable, and able to establish collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers.
