Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze new and existing accounts to assess credit risk and approve payment terms in accordance with credit policy and authorization level.
  • Assess creditworthiness and risk levels by reviewing financial statements, credit history, payment habits, earnings, savings, and spending patterns.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies for portfolios in collaboration with the Corporate Credit & Collection Manager.
  • Support automation and new initiatives for improved Credit and Collections process.
  • Manage Credit KPI dashboard and reporting for higher management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Involved in and recommends initiatives toward continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in commerce, accounting or similar background.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in credit/collections in a multi-BU environment.
  • Experience of working with US, Canada, and Mexico accounts.
  • Proficient with using D&B and Equifax credit bureau reports.
  • Experience of working with ERP systems such as IFS or JD Edward.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required.
  • Knowledge of credit & collections principles, processes, regulations, and standards.
  • General accounting knowledge specifically around working capital and its impact on cash flow.
  • Strong understanding and abilities to understand/analyze commercial reports and data.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
