About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Governance Treasury team in National Bank Financial Markets. As a governance specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of risk and profitability within the sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document all Treasury activities to ensure compliance with guiding principles, standards, and obligations.
  • Assess and structure decision-making processes to support the team in planning, establishing, and following up on priorities.
  • Oversee the development of business governance by cataloguing and implementing best practices.
  • Integrate the business strategy into the risk management framework to ensure a positive impact on the sector's risk management and profitability.
About the Team

You will be part of a team of five colleagues reporting to the Managing Director and Head of Governance, Treasury, and Pension Fund. Our team is known for its cross-functional role with Treasury financing and investment trading teams, and we prioritize the development of specialized expertise in a collaborative and enriching work environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience or master's degree and 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to synthesize information, strong desire to learn and develop in a complex field.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and documentation tools such as Confluence and Viadee.
