Food Store Manager

FAMILY PIZZA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
- Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Authorize Payments: Verify and authorize payments by cheque, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate the ordering and receipt of merchandise, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory management.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal productivity.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, promoting and selling merchandise to meet sales targets.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, merchandising trends, and personnel matters to prepare reports for management.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or food service environment.
- Work Environment: Non-smoking, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Work Setting: Rural area, remote location.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, dependability, and initiative.
- Free Parking: Available on site.
- Employment Type: Permanent.
- Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week.
