Key Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning services.
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet departmental policies and safety standards.
- Coordinate contract services and maintain financial records to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure efficient operations.
- Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in housekeeping management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Dental plan and health care plan.
- Support for persons with disabilities, including physical accessibility accommodations.
- Participation in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, youth employment, and Indigenous people.
