About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Record Keeper and Auditor to join our team at Alert Guard Security Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and performing various accounting tasks. This is a permanent opportunity with 40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries and prepare other statistical reports
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, as well as prepare trial balances
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Tight deadlines and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Accurate and reliable with excellent written communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
