About the Role

The Continual Improvement (CI) Facilitator will play a key role in expediting the implementation of the continual improvement program at Magellan Aerospace, Winnipeg. This position requires strong project management skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, as well as a passion for making positive change and achieving objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and analyze production data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Conduct Continual Improvement events such as Continual Improvement Clinics to engage teams and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Interface with multiple departments, external sources, and top management to ensure seamless integration of CI activities.
  • Facilitate meetings, projects, and programs to provide direction and maintain momentum through to completion.
  • Provide training and be a focal point for Foreign Object Debris (FOD), 6S, and Human Factors.
Requirements
  • A strong background in manufacturing, preferably with one to two years of experience, or three years of CI experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant post-secondary diploma/degree from a recognized college or university.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to promote a teamwork atmosphere.
  • Strong project and time management skills, with experience in Lean/Six Sigma methodology, Root Cause Analysis/Problem solving, and related tools.
