We're seeking a dedicated and results-driven Department Manager to lead our Meat and Seafood department at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and are skilled in inventory management, we encourage you to apply.
Job SummaryThe Department Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Meat and Seafood department, ensuring that all products are properly merchandised and displayed. You will be working closely with our buying team to negotiate prices, manage inventory levels, and develop strategies to drive sales growth.
This is a full-time opportunity that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. As a Department Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
About You- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail or food industry environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- You possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
- You have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices, including ordering, receiving, and stocking procedures.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and have experience with point-of-sale systems.
- You are physically able to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting required.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
