Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Supervisor to join our team at Glidex Delivery and Janitorial Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Ensure the efficient operation of computer equipment and machinery.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Arrange training for staff and coordinate, assign, and review work.
- Organize and maintain inventory, establish work schedules and procedures, and plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics.
- Supervise a team of 11-15 people and ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, organized, and a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Our team works in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and we require our Transportation Supervisor to be able to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Language:The primary language of work is English, and we require our Transportation Supervisor to be fluent in English.Work Schedule:
The work schedule is 40 hours per week, and we require our Transportation Supervisor to be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
