The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our team at our Smithville facility. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods within the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Support other departments as needed, including purchasing, customer service, production, quality, maintenance, shipping, and parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the success of the Logistics Department and Stanpac as a whole.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a forklift role within a busy manufacturing area.
- Current forklift certification preferred.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
