Job Title: SAN Storage Engineer

This is a mid-to-senior level position for a skilled SAN storage administrator. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in large enterprise SAN and NAS environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage SAN storage systems, including PMAX, Storage Provisioning, Zonning, Solution Enabler, SRDF, Clones, Unisphere, Performance Manager, PowerPath, FAST, Thin Provisioning, RAID, and SAN troubleshooting.
  • Provide expert-level support for Pure Storage administration and Isilon technologies.
  • Monitor storage resource utilization and availability.
  • Troubleshoot storage-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Generate reports and analysis on storage usage.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware failures and performance issues.
  • Provide off-hours and weekend remote support.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in PMAX provisioning process using Solution Enabler CLI.
  • Experience with SAN migration using SRDF.
  • Knowledge of PMAX and VMAX technology.
  • Hands-on experience with Pure Storage and Isilon technologies.
  • Strong background in SAN administration, including PMAX, Storage Provisioning, Zonning, Solution Enabler, SRDF, Clones, Unisphere, Performance Manager, PowerPath, FAST, Thin Provisioning, RAID, and SAN troubleshooting.
  • Deep knowledge of Pure Storage administration.
  • Scripting knowledge in Python or Perl is desired.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited collegiate institution.
