Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to join our team at Wayne Hughes. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding and dressing
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to help reduce feelings of loneliness
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve meals
  • Assist with medication management
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
