About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Custom Frame and Mirror Assembler to join our team at 2684374 ONTARIO INC. as a Furniture Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and finishing custom frames and mirrors for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Assembly: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and assemble frames and mirrors according to those plans.
  • Finishing Touches: Sand wooden surfaces, apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Repair and Restoration: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
