B+H Architects, a global consulting and design solutions firm, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join its dynamic healthcare team in Vancouver. Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams, planning and managing projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion of large-scale healthcare projects. With a strong focus on client relationships, financial acumen, and resource allocation, this individual will play a critical role in maintaining B+H's reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.

About the Role
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to coordinate project scope, timelines, and budgets;
  • Develop and implement detailed work plans, allocate resources, and monitor project progress;
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, sub-consultant agreements, and client relationships;
  • Manage project finances, including forecasting revenue, approving invoices, and ensuring compliance with industry standards;
  • Maintain close relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution;
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager to determine project staffing needs and recommend team members;
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of architectural project work experience;
  • At least 7 years of experience in complex projects, preferably in large-scale healthcare environments;
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, client relationship building, and business planning;
  • Familiarity with PMI framework and standard industry practices;
  • Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, and forecasting;
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills;
  • Possession of PMP certification or willingness to obtain it;
  • Experience with BST and/or Deltek software is an asset.
