At Techo-Bloc, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Creative Merchandising Designer to join our Display Architect team. With a strong understanding of display design principles and project management skills, this role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills.

About the Role

This position involves interpreting written briefs and moodboard inspirations into creative design solutions, developing innovative display concepts, conducting thorough research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, and managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transform written briefs and moodboard inspirations into creative design solutions;
  • Develop aesthetically pleasing display concepts that effectively communicate brand messages;
  • Conduct research across different fields to stay abreast of trends in design, architecture, lifestyle, products, and services;
  • Create detailed design plans, including sketches, renderings, and digital models;
  • Ensure designs are practical and feasible, considering materials, budget, and production constraints;
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into design projects;
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's or technical degree in Industrial Design, Fine Arts, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in display design, visual merchandising, or a similar role;
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Sketchup;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
