About the Role

Meltwich is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
    • Hire food service staff
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
