Job Description

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects within the organization. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams to achieve project objectives
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, architecture, project management)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on capital projects and infrastructure development
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of modern project management best practices, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Knowledge of Canadian or Nunavut laws, codes, building guides, and public sector project management and contracting policies and procedures
