About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Inout Design & Construction. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating custom-made cabinets that maximize storage, shaping surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, and studying plans to ensure accurate execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare specifications for custom-made cabinets, ensuring optimal storage and functionality.
  • Shape and finish wood workpieces using hand tools and equipment.
  • Study plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution and attention to detail.
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as needed.
  • Sand and finish wood surfaces, applying veneer, stain, or polish as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Estimate costs and materials, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as saws and sanders.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a 30-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.
Working Conditions

The Cabinetmaker will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and handling weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs). The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic.
