We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Nova Liquor Inc. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Payments: Handle money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Scan Items: Accurately scan products and maintain a high level of accuracy in inventory management.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, and report any maintenance or repair issues to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, team player, reliability, and ability to work in a permanent position.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
