  • Overseeing the launch of Food and Support Services in new Seniors Living Facilities, integrating cutting-edge facilities and amenities.
  • Nurturing strong client relationships, driven by excellent communication and trust-building strategies.
  • Elevating resident satisfaction through ongoing feedback analysis and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining robust quality assurance, health, safety, and environmental programs.
  • Designing menus that cater to residents' nutritional needs, leveraging expert planning and recipe development skills.
  • Regularly assessing meal preparation and service quality to ensure consistency with established standards.
  • Building a high-performing team through hiring, orientation, supervision, task delegation, and performance evaluation.
  • Maintaining fiscal discipline and providing operational reports to senior management as needed.
  • Developing and enforcing a comprehensive Food Safety Plan, incorporating best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensuring precise inventory control and submitting timely financial reports according to the Compass Group fiscal schedule.
  • Staying abreast of industry-standard cleaning and sanitation procedures for large-scale settings.


You'll Thrive if You Have

  • Post-secondary education and at least 7 years of progressive foodservice management experience in licensed full-service environments.
  • Desirable experience managing multi-sites, housekeeping, and maintenance services.
  • A proven track record of leading a customer-centric hospitality environment that excels in quality and service.
  • In-depth knowledge of local provincial food premises regulations and applicable health and safety legislation.
  • Superior leadership skills, empowering you to motivate and engage employees.
  • Hands-on experience in large quantity food preparation, financial planning, and food purchasing.
  • A demonstrated flair for innovative menu planning, preparation, and presentation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to work and communicate effectively with residents and guests.
  • An effective team player who collaborates seamlessly with others.
  • Canadian Society of Nutrition Management membership is an asset.
  • Advanced Food Safety Training (AFST) and Level 1 and 2 Health and Safety Certification training or willingness to complete within 90 days.
