Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Inspector/Field Engineer to join our team at Associated Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of bridges and transportation structures to ensure their safety and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct condition inspections and construction inspections on bridges and transportation structures
  • Develop and implement inspection plans and procedures
  • Collect and analyze data to identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to improve bridge safety and efficiency
  • Prepare and present inspection reports and recommendations to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • 5+ years of direct field experience or 1+ year of experience completing condition inspections/construction inspections on bridges and transportation structures
  • Strong communication and organization skills, including report writing
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with database software and bridge inspection and management systems
