Job Summary

This role involves overseeing maintenance operations with direct responsibility for hourly employees. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams in complex facilities, effective team building, KPI management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance and make contacts with vendors for necessary repair items.
  • Participate in program development, safety, maintaining building and grounds, and equipment installation.
  • Administer Collective Agreement (if applicable) along with company policies/procedures while resolving employee issues including progressive discipline.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing facility.
  • Experience with Automation is an asset.
  • Strong change management and continuous improvement skills.
  • Concrete experience in project management (asset).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Industrial Relations or other relevant education and/or maintenance work experience.
  • Post Secondary Education is an asset.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
