Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Alberta Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our managers and employees in all aspects of human resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Employee Relations: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes, and co-ordinate termination of employment process.
  • HR Operations: Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties, determine eligibility to entitlements, and arrange staff training.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Windows, human resources software, MS Word, and Internet.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate.
