Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouseperson to join our team at Timberjack Building Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick orders and stock, and ship orders to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and ensure accurate tracking of stock levels.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, dusty, noisy.
  • Work Setting: Warehouse, retail/wholesale establishment/distribution center.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, strapping machine, industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, pallet lifters.
  • Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract).
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
