This permanent (full-time) opportunity involves working as a Personal Insurance Advisor at our Terrace Bay branch. Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing ongoing client needs, advising on insurance matters, conducting needs assessments, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, making care calls, and processing renewals
  • Selling new policies and writing new business with existing or new clients, retaining existing business
  • Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
  • Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes, and reviewing renewals
  • Staying up-to-date on underwriting rules and workflow processes
  • Actively participating in training initiatives
  • Contributing to community marketing efforts

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • High school and/or post-secondary education
  • Previous insurance experience is preferred but not required
  • RIBO License is preferred
  • Exposure to Epic is an asset
  • A strong customer focus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary Estimate: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum based on location and industry standards.
