Job Summary

The University of Lethbridge is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our Faculty of Health Sciences. As a key member of our research team, you will contribute to the development of innovative clinical trials and engage with patients, clinicians, and decision-makers to prioritize study outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead research activities, including designing clinical trials, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting research findings at international conferences.
  • Collaborate with the research team, advisory group, and stakeholders to develop survey materials, recruitment strategies, and data collection methods.
  • Conduct primary and secondary data collection, including interviews and statistical testing.
  • Design and implement clinical trials, including multi-arm, multi-stage, and adaptive dose-ranging designs.
  • Engage in knowledge translation activities, such as writing research papers and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
  • Provide oversight on social media, newsletters, and outreach activities.
Requirements
  • PhD in epidemiology, health sciences, or a related field within the last 5 years.
  • Training in strategic patient-oriented research (SPOR) is required.
  • Experience in mixed-methods research, including biostatistical testing and qualitative techniques.
  • Knowledge of innovative clinical trials design is an asset.
  • Strong research knowledge, skills, and attitudes, with a focus on children and youth with ADHD.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $60,000 to $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
