Job Title: Technical System Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical System Analyst to join our team at Finance Professionals Inc. in Downtown Toronto. As a Technical System Analyst, you will be responsible for providing software support for the suite of IBM MQ and IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/App Connect Enterprise (ACE) products globally across all banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide L2/L3 support of messaging technologies, including support to the user community.
  • Determine and recommend performance improvements.
  • Ensure that instances of messaging technology software are at an optimal release level and be involved, as required, to coordinate/perform upgrades.
  • Collaborate with senior management, peers, and application development teams to effectively communicate complex technology subject matter and potential usage possibilities.
Requirements:
  • Professional with a minimum of 6 years' experience in an IT support role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred), OpenShift Container Platform, or equivalent cloud products.
  • Experience with Linux, AIX, Windows, and Tandem.
  • Experience or understanding of IBM MQ, ACE, middleware technologies, and/or design techniques and tools.
  • Ability to script using Shell or Python.
  • Knowledge of domains, IP infrastructure, server operating systems, and domain registration standards, as well as an understanding of IT standards, methodologies, and audit requirements.
