Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Simply Smart - Child Care Centre & Montessori/Iroquois. As an Infant Program Manager, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for infants aged 6 months to 18 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement a play-based curriculum that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth in infants.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a well-organized and safe learning environment that meets the needs of diverse learners.
  • Staff Supervision: Mentor and support early childhood educators in the infant room to ensure high-quality care and education.
  • Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with parents through regular updates and progress reports.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Early Childhood Educator designation
  • Experience: At least 2 to 4 years of experience in a childcare environment, preferably with infants (6 mths to 18 mths)
  • Skills: Ability to work shifts (7am to 6pm), Standard First Aid CPR C+, Vulnerable Sector Check, and Immunization up to date (including a 2 step TB test)
