Job Title: Press Brake Operator

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team at Velocity Machining & Welding Inc. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating metalworking machines to shape and form metal stock into parts or products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and specifications
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products
  • Document work completed
  • Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs
  • Lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in metal fabrication
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility, organized, and team player
