Maintenance Director

About the Role
The Maintenance Director is a key member of the Eska team, responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance activities within the organization. This role requires a proactive approach to optimize human, financial, and technical resources, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of equipment and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program, including preventive, predictive, and corrective measures, to ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Lead the maintenance team in identifying and evaluating opportunities for improvement and development within the organization.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the implementation of projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with various departments, including health and safety, quality, human resources, production, and finance, to align departmental objectives with the organization's strategic goals.
- Provide technical assistance and expertise to resolve complex operational issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance management and project management in a manufacturing sector.
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Understanding of general financial management concepts.
- Diploma in a relevant field (engineering, mechanics, electrical, electromechanical, projects, etc.).
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and project management tools.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.).
- Experience in a highly automated and food-related environment is an asset.
