Director, Fleet Operations

Are you an experienced leader in fleet operations and maintenance looking to join a progressive company? Our client is seeking a Director, Fleet Operations in Saint John, New Brunswick.

The Director will manage the Fleet Operations department and core fleet operations activities. This includes:

  1. Maintenance and repair of fleet assets,
  2. Managing relationships with suppliers/vendors and stakeholders,
  3. Working with KPI’s, reports, and process improvement,
  4. Administering the fleet insurance program,
  5. Overseeing safety and training programming, and
  6. Investigating incidents and accidents related to the department.

Travel within the Maritimes and Ontario will be required.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  1. A degree or diploma in a relevant discipline,
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience with fleet management, and
  3. Additional training and certifications as assets.

Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and strategizing skills are also required for this role. The ability to motivate a team, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and the capability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders are essential.

An excellent compensation package is offered, commensurate with experience.
