Senior Embedded Software Developer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C programming and experience with TCP/IP, Firewall, and UTM. They will also be responsible for maintaining and documenting code using source control systems and implementing new features according to identified specs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design software for FortiManager
  • Hands-on in bug fixing
  • Maintain and document code using source control system
  • Maintenance, performance tuning, and support of implemented software or firmware products
  • Implement new features according to identified specs

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years' C/C++ work experience
  • Experience with TCP/IP, Firewall, UTM
  • Experience in synchronous and asynchronous encryption (cryptology) and signature algorithms
  • Knowledge of embedded security features and best practices
  • Software development experience in Unix/Linux environment
  • Capable of switching focus in various situations and applying themselves to quickly learning new technologies and adopting new methodologies
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Relational database skills is an asset

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Masters or PhD is an asset) in Computer Science or similar degree.
