At Skylinerl, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team of environmental consulting experts. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality environmental engineering services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct and manage evaluations of remedial options, treatment system upgrades, stormwater infrastructure, landfill closure techniques, and infrastructure construction oversight.
- Collaborate on design teams for remedial systems, in-situ chemical treatments, barrier walls, treatment plant upgrades, landfill covers, and other environmental projects.
- Travel to project sites to observe conditions, oversee staff and contractors, and conduct field engineering reviews.
- Prepare and review monitoring reports, audit findings, technical reports, design briefs, specifications, tender documents, contracts, and other project documentation.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and staffing, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Innovate practical and economical project solutions, making sound decisions that adhere to environmental regulations and client requirements.
- Develop and review work plans, project designs, technical reports, and contract specifications for operational and capital upgrade projects.
- Administer and manage contracts, ensuring compliance and effective project delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulators, and stakeholders to successfully deliver projects, maintaining positive relationships throughout project lifecycles.
- Act as a project leader, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and efficiency among junior engineers and technical staff.
- Supervise engineers and technical staff, conduct peer reviews, and provide guidance on approaches and problem-solving.
- Participate in the design, preparation, and approval of engineering drawings and specifications in specialized areas.
- Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering discipline.
- Ability to interpret and apply environmental engineering principles, regulations, and technical guidelines to specialized projects.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize project components, ensuring timely delivery with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in engineering design and project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with experience in project management software preferred.
