Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at CB Canada. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting our daily operations by performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Match invoices to purchase orders/vouchers and perform data entry tasks
  • Assist with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions
  • Upload financial information to journals and ledgers
  • Mend discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement and preparing correction documents as required
  • Contribute to general ledger account reconciliation and month-end closing
  • Process daily invoices/credit and apply cash receipts
  • Help with collection of past due balances
  • Assist with A/P invoice matching and filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing
  • Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of various sources
  • Organize documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
Requirements
  • General ledger experience preferred
  • Strong familiarity with Enter Invoices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Outstanding data entry skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request
  • Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended
  • AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
