Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Gameplay Systems Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing gameplay systems that deliver exceptional player experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with designers and artists to create innovative gameplay systems that meet the needs of our players.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code that is secure, efficient, and scalable.
  • Work closely with the central Frostbite engine team to develop systems that can be shared across games.
  • Architect and document gameplay systems to ensure clarity and maintainability.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and pinpoint inefficiencies in features.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
  • 5+ years of development experience, having shipped at least one title as an Engineer.
  • Excellent working knowledge of C++.
  • Experience with code/data in multithreaded Client/Server architectures.
  • Experience working with a team of engineers to deliver software applications.
