Employee Wellness and Safety Specialist

About the JobWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Employee Wellness and Safety Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, and wellness programs across multiple sites and provinces, including Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement occupational health, safety, and emergency management system programs
- Provide subject matter expertise and consultation on health, safety, and wellness practices
- Lead monthly reporting and analyze Dynacare's incident and accident data to minimize workplace injuries and related claim costs
- Consult with internal stakeholders to enhance/improve employee wellness, safety, and environmental policies, programs, processes, and standards
- Ensure ongoing effective positioning and integration of corporate wellness, safety programs and services
- Undergraduate degree in a related field
- Knowledge of Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia safety requirements and legislation
- 5+ years progressive H&S business partner experience, including 2+ years' experience working with multiple sites and in multiple Provinces
- Experience supporting employee client groups at different organizational levels
- Strong research skills and ability to develop teaching aids and job aids to mitigate risks
- A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
