Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Retail Procurement Specialist to join our team at MOBIL BELLEVILLE. The successful candidate will be responsible for studying market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels and oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and review requirements of the establishment to determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, utilizing MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word to support business operations.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
