Retail Buyer Role at MOBIL BELLEVILLE

We are seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to join our team at MOBIL BELLEVILLE. As a Retail Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing merchandise for resale, maintaining adequate stock levels, and negotiating prices with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and sales data to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers to optimize costs.
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic retail environment.

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

  • MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
